Bleach is a manga series currently one of the most popular and best selling series selling in America and Japan.
Kurosaki Ichigo - Main character
Recieves the powers of a death god (Grim Reaper) and has to take on the duties of a death god which in japanese is called a "Shinigami" although he is a substitute shinigami so he's called a "Shinigami-daikou". The early parts of the series focuses on Ichigo and his friends along with his school life, later on the series gets a lot more interesting due to the fact that his trainer Rukia the girl who gave him those powers is about to be executed due to the laws of Soul Society (Soul Society is where the shinigami's reside along with the elite captains). The chapter shown in Soul Society is possibly the best one because it has a lot of story to it and a lot of sense with it too, it's pretty exciting and anyone could get sucked into the series.
There are in fact a lot of brilliant well developed story lines and the main one that viewers are always looking forward to is the Hollow form of Ichigo and his Story of being a Vaizard.
